Choosing the Right Adhesive Coverage for Your Sticky Paper

Did you know that “sticky paper” has different types of adhesive coverage and price points to meet your needs?

The full-coverage adhesive thermal paper provides the most extensive adhesive to help ensure great adhesion in most environments.   The continuous adhesive applied across the width of the roll increases the surface area contact and improves adhesion. Full coverage works well on foil, wax paper, drinks, and many other surfaces in demanding environments.   

A lower-cost alternative is the center Adhesive which offers great adhesion as well for the same application as mentioned above.  Intended for less demanding environments we suggest trying this option to help avoid frequent paper cutter and print head cleaning from adhesive buildup. 

Sticky paper is a great tool for managing store operations and meeting customer expectations when properly used and stored.  We recommend storing cases of paper, in a cool location and applying it to a clean surface for optimum performance adhesion.   Like all thermal paper, there is a threshold when heat activates the chemicals to create text.  Do not use or store it in areas with excessively high temperatures.
